One actual benefit of gaining weight is that when you’re thin, it can hurt to lean back against the wall (for instance) because you have so little fat on your shoulder blades. So far I’ve borne it well. I still wear 36” waist pants and with my build I gain weight mostly in the chest, shoulders, and midsection rather than the waistline so I just end up looking thicker instead of fatass.
