Happy Birthday!
Sorry, but I don’t really remember the later parts of Avernum III. I’m really not going to remember IV if you try and talk to me about that one before I play the remake.
I have the Wizardry remake and I played it alot, but I was trying to play through it with the old-school leveling up options and I stalled because I was having a hard time seeing how to get my party strong enough in that game mode. Switching classes is a big part of party building. Also, don’t use the first save slot, it’s notoriously buggy. Well into the game even in one of the other save slot I was finding that it was deleting characthers when I was trying to level up, which is disastrous. I just started making sure I had a backup file.
Anyway, I might start a new game in a different game mode. But I got Wizardy: The Five Ordeals, which is an olschool style Wizardry game from 2005 that comes with 5 scenarios that are all as big as the original game, and has custom fan-made scenarios as well. It’s one of the Japanese made game though, and the translations are pretty awful Engrish.
I did finish the Bard’s Tale remake.
I’m playing this game now,

This trailer is more focused on showing how gory it is, and not so much on showing how much of a deliberate Simon’s Quest homage/rippoff it is.
It’s on PC as well as Playstation. I’m playing it on PC. I did finally get an XBox controller to use on my computer. It’s great having it for a game like this. I didn’t think it would make this much of a difference or I would have gotten a controller years ago.
