I’ve never read those, but he apparently wrote them from earlier drafts of the scrips without seeing the episodes, which probably makes them more interesting. Also, they’re all credited to him, but apparently his wife wrote the later ones.

As for Blish, I like the short fiction I’ve read from him, but don’t really care for his most famous novel, A Case of Conscience. The only story I’ve read from Cities in Flight is Earthman, Come Home, and that was a long time ago. I’ll read the rest some day.
