You’re going to have cravings for a long time but over time those cravings become less and less. It’s been several years but I’ve reached the point where I can honestly say that I no longer have any real desire to drink that much. It helps that at our advanced age that the hangovers are so horrendous that it puts you off drinking with the thought of the morning after. The last time I got drunk I felt like total shit for three days and could barely eat because of the acid reflux.
