Doreen is a great pick for this. I’ve always kinda viewed the song as a 2 minute track where the joke is that the coda lasts longer than the song. But yeah that coda is just kind of a wall of sounds rather than a focused musical section so it feels like the song didn’t deliver on the potential it had.

I’ll try to think of one. there have gotta be prog songs that start out with the best sections and then fizzle after that. 2112 by Rush? if youve heard overture/temples you dont need to hear the rest of the song.
