I was not particularly interested in Pere Ubu. However learning that Richard Lloyd from Television playing in the Rocket From The Tombs reunion albums made me explore this and the guitar interplay between Richard Lloyd and Cheetah Chrome is the closest thing in the post-Television side projects that mimic the guitar duo from Lloyd/Verlaine. I like those albums as a heavy metal/hard rock version of Television
