What do you think of the late Bones Hillman from Midnight Oil? Maybe he was one of those “follow the guitarist” bass players, but I thought he stood out in the crowd. Like Mike Mills, Bones was also a very good singer. So was their very underrated drummer Rob Hirst. Not very many people can sing that well and play drums at the same time.
