I think it’s mirroring the style of the gigantic Music Babble post I fed it in its record-critic persona. I caught it using my pet device of polysyndeton in parallel constructions – “for better or for worse”, “to have and to hold”, “in sickness and in health” – when only the first preposition would suffice – only for whole phrases. There must be a name for this figure but I don’t know it. That’s not a terribly common graphic tic and it makes me wonder if it’s mimicking that part of face-to-face conversation.
