Interesting. Sounds like a very different kind of thing entirely from regular magic mushrooms. Maybe its like a less toxic version that humans are able to tolerate of what might typically be found in some poisonous species? I’ve seen “these mushrooms are special and unique” stories that have turned out to be hoaxes before though, so I’d hope more research is on the way to confirm this.
